We’re Ambavo

Ambavo was born from an extreme desire to bring individuality to the wallet. While some offerings existed, none offered every single thing we were looking for. Simply put, Ambavo was made because we got tired of waiting for someone else to do it.

We believe a wallet shouldn’t be just a container for cards and cash — it should be an expression of identity, a canvas that reflects your personality at least a little bit.

Something FUN. Something PRACTICAL.

Every color, edge, and stitch is considered. Every material is chosen not only for how it feels, but for what it says. Our philosophy is simple:

Infinite Expression

We're driven by three things.

Art, wallets, and keeping penguins safe in a world that’s changing beneath their feet.

The first Sketch

AMBAVO started as a small sketch and a stubborn belief: everyday objects could feel more personal. What began as an idea for a better wallet slowly became something bigger — a way to turn function into expression.

“I still can’t believe this started as one small sketch. Seeing people carry something that began as a simple idea is the part that makes it real.”

— Joseph Ansary, Founder

The First Attempt

More than a year after the first sketch, the idea came back. I spent 2019 and the beginning of 2020 trying to turn AMBAVO into something real — building samples, finding suppliers, and learning the hard way. Then the world changed. Covid. Work stopped, supply chains broke, and the first version of the dream fell apart. But the idea never left.

The Dream Revived

Years passed, but the idea never left. By June 2025, AMBAVO returned with more clarity, more taste, and a stronger purpose. What started as a better wallet became something more personal: an everyday object designed to carry art, memory, and individuality.

The First Collection

Almost a decade after the first sketch, AMBAVO became real. The Goldilocks Wallet is our first expression of that belief: an everyday object made to carry function, art, and personality in one place.
